A midday game of chess before a nearing storm. Characters: Queen Inula & General Basalt Queen Inula Her royal garden was in full bloom and the sweet scent of the overhanging bottlebrush flowers lingered strongly in the air. Inula was seated at a round table beneath the blooming tree whilst one of her royal guards, Anonna, stood nearby. The lush garden, surrounded by its tall walls made out of white clay, felt like a serene bubble. Though her highness's abode was situated in the heart of Baraahn, the sounds of the nearby marketplace all but faded away near the perimeter of Inula’s house. It was no wonder why she spent so much of her free time in the garden. In light of the recent distressing events, any commoner would certainly pay a great sum of copper to spend a day enjoying the peace Inula’s home had to offer.
